STING DOLLS: MEET TIFFANIE
“Leave nothing but footprints, take nothing but pictures.”
This Sting Doll’s lifestyle is just as active as your Instagram feed. With “Adventure” being her middle name, our doll of the week Miss Tiffanie Damian is constantly seeking her next thrill. Whether she is hiking up Cowles Mountain, rollerblading the boardwalks of Pacific Beach, or doing headstands on her paddleboard, Tiffanie is guaranteed to be Stingaree’s most energetic, fun loving, party starter!
With a passion for change and excitement it’s no surprise that our doll has lived in 6 cities, 3 states, and 2 countries. With her heart the happiest while in transition, our gypsy gal has walked the roads, beaches, lakes and mountains of some of the world’s most magnificent landmarks. Originally from the city by the bay, San Francisco, our flower child relocated down the Pacific coast to sunny San Diego. After graduating school, our adventure-seeking gal has been traveling ever since. From the islands of Hawaii to the tranquil snow lined mountains of British Columbia, Tiffanie is the perfect combination of a Zen inspired, thrill seeking, and life enthusiast.
After a short time in the Las Vegas hospitality industry, Tiffanie traded the fast-paced glamorous lifestyle to move back to her roots for the beach by day, Stingaree by night. But no matter where she moves her heart always leads her back home.
What’s Tiffanie’s next big adventure? Our travel guru will be exploring the exotic beaches and dream like waters of Thailand and Bali as she takes a month long solo voyage for her birthday.
We spent the day with Tiffanie to get to know this fun spirited, get-up-and-go, wanderlust child and how she spends her days on and off the paddleboard!
Tiffanie the explorer! What inspired you to visit Thailand and Bali?
I’m so excited; I’ll be traveling to Chiang Mai, Bangkok, Phuket, Koh Pi Pi, and Ubud Bali. I decided to travel this trip solo because it will allow me the opportunity to fully experience their culture and lifestyle without any distractions. I can’t wait to be ripped out of my comfort and thrown in the Indian Ocean! But don’t worry; plenty of photos will be taken.
When you’re not jet setting around the world, what does a typical day look like for you?
My body clock wakes me up just in time to walk over to the yoga studio for a 10:30am practice. I come back home for a protein shake and change into my hiking gear. Cowles Mountain calls my name so I grab a sandwich at Sprouts and have a romantic solo lunch at the top of the mountain. I get back to my house just in time to catch the sunset at Crystal Pier and wind down with a Deepak paperback. Quiet weekday evenings get me ready for the weekend at Sting!
You have such a infectious energy! How do you unwind from your day?
By relaxing in my comfy bed catching up on my shows or with a good book and dessert. I have a crazy sweet tooth!
A girl that reads is always attractive! What are you currently reading?
Deepak Chopra is my favorite author right now. I’m rereading Spontaneous Fulfillment and finishing up his Book of Secrets. I can’t get enough of his brain. My goal is to meet and converse with him by the end of this year!
You are definitely quite the active yogi! What do you love most about yoga and how often do you practice?
Yoga for me is meditation in motion. I started at Corepower when I moved back to San Diego in February and our love affair has been going strong ever since! I go 6 times a week sometimes 2 classes a day. I attend their sculpt courses when I’m feeling intense and their C2 classes when I need to reset. Yoga is so mind, body and soul good!
What hiking trails can we catch you running up this fall?
Mt. Woodson in Poway is my all time favorite, especially during sunset! It’s a good 8-mile hike with amazing views of the lakes and surrounding mountains. But when I need something quick and local Cowles Mountain or Torrey Pines is where you can find me. Torrey Pines has gorgeous ocean views and erosion filled cliffs and Cowles Mountain is great for a short uphill hike. Hiking is my great escape!
You have so much culture and soul. If you could sum it up through music, what would be the theme song to your life?
Little Ninja by Classified by day and Purity Ring by Fineshrine by night-I want to live in the crevices of that song.
What do you enjoy most about working at Stingaree?
I love that it’s never the same night twice. I love being a part of each birthday or bachelorette bash. Every work night is an event to celebrate with shots and champagne toasts.
It was great getting to spend a day in the life of you! You have such an intriguing and exciting lifestyle. We wish you all the luck on your journey to the Indian Ocean!
