Happy Birthday Christie! We couldn’t have picked a better week to feature our blue-eyed beauty, Miss Christie Burns.
Beauty and a banging body are just two of the many attributes we admire about Christie. As beautiful as she is on the outside, she’s even more beautiful on the inside. What’s beauty though if you don’t have the brains to back it? A recent graduate from the Bellus Academy, our beauty school queen has earned her licensure of esthetics and certificate in professional makeup artistry. But her schooling doesn’t stop there! Motivated and dedicated to reaching her goal of becoming San Diego’s next Botox specialist our gal is already tackling her next goal. Christie’s week is filled with organic chemistry, anatomy, and physiology classes in preparation of obtaining her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing.

The happiest of birthdays to you! How did you celebrate your special day?

Luckily, I got to take a break from studying to spend some time with my favorite people. Went to dinner with family and was spoiled with goodies from friends.

Sounds like you’ve had an amazing birthday week so far, what would be the icing on the cake to finish your weekend with a bang?

I don’t know, maybe a bottle of Dom.

When you aren’t performing facials, studying for your text exam, or slanging bottles on the weekends, what do you like to do for fun for yourself?

Sundays are my favorite. No school and no work! Yay! It’s my day to sleep in late, cuddle in bed with Winston (my handsome Golden Retriever), and maybe hit the gym. Sunday nights are great too because I get to catch new episodes of my favorite T.V. series: Dexter, Boardwalk Empire, House of Lies, Girls, and Shameless are some of my favorites.

We love Girls! Those gals are hilarious! If you could make a cameo on a TV show what would it be?

I’ve always wanted to participate on The Real World Challenge!

You would be perfect for that show! It’s admirable how dedicated you are to staying healthy and in shape. Tell us how you do it!

I’ve been an athlete all my life, playing pretty much every sport there is to name. Volleyball, water polo, softball, track and field, and of course there was my tackle football days…San Diego Seduction!

We remember the San Diego Seduction days! You easily take the cake for being the sexiest football player to ever hit the field. Tell us about your days in cleats and eye black?

I was so excited when the Lingerie Football League decided to create a ten-team franchise and launch a full inaugural season. I always wanted to play full contact football so I jumped at the opportunity to try out for the team. Out of over 400 girls who came to tryout, I made the top 12!

What position did you play?

Wide receiver and safety. After the first season I made the all-star team and was our team’s captain for 3 years. We got to travel and play in front of thousands of fans!

What an adrenaline rush! Aside from kicking butt on the field, what makes you feel the most powerful?

For all of our beauty queens out there, what is your best beauty advice?

Get plenty of sleep, drink lots of water, and love the skin you’re in. Taking care of yourself internally with a healthy diet, exercise, and a stress free mind will do wonders for the way you look and feel!
